I have been to the cattle sale yards at Koonwarra and listened to what many farmers had to say. I noted their concerns about ongoing farming issues and dealing with a changing climate. I believe that the farming in this electorate is integral to our local and national economies, particularly as in this area we have the good soils and reliable water supply. Farmers of Monash can feed the nation – so why not offer them the same level of support as other industries?
